Lustran Polymers Appoints Chase Plastics, Christler Chemical and Plastics, Enpol and Hanna Prime as Strategic Regional Distributors


Engineering Plastics Distributors to promote Lustran® ABS, Lustran® SAN, Centrex® ASA and Triax® ABS/Nylon products in the United States

Addyston (Cincinnati), OH – February 19, 2007 – The Lustran Polymers business unit of LANXESS Corporation today announced that it has created a regional network of distributors focused on engineering applications. Enpol (Southeast/Northeast), Hanna Prime, Inc. (Southwest), Chase Plastics (Midwest) and Christler Chemical and Plastics (Northwest) will serve as the sole regional distributors for the company’s Lustran® ABS & SAN, Centrex® ASA, AES, ASA/PC, AES/ASA/PC weatherable blends and Triax® ABS/Nylon alloys in the United States.  This arrangement will be rolled out in the first quarter of 2007.

Lustran Polymers also recently announced the appointment of Ashland Distribution, a division of Ashland Inc., and PolyOne Corporation as its national distributors The signing of the regional distribution contracts completes Lustran Polymers’ distribution strategy in the United States.
